20th June Rick Close Cup Round 1, U21 Championship Cup Round 1 and remaining KDSA Cup Round 1 Games (if this includes any State Cup Teams these games will be deferred)

 Men’s Football – Wet Weather Policy

MFC will do what it can to play as many games as possible, while preventing individual teams and divisions from falling too far behind.  While we recognise that late changes are inconvenient for managers and players, we may take any or all of the following steps when grounds are closed due to wet weather:

·         move games from closed grounds to open grounds;



·         postpone games on open grounds (to enable full divisions to be played);



·         move games to Sunday;



·         change the time of games.



 



The core principles being followed are that full divisions should be played where possible and that teams and divisions that have played fewer games will have priority.



 



All managers and players are reminded that make-up games will be scheduled at the MFC’s discretion.  However, the Queen’s Birthday holiday (14 June) is a designated make-up day and games can be expected to be scheduled on this day.



 



When grounds may be closed due to wet weather, managers and players should check the website carefully and also look out for communications from the MFC liaison officer responsible for their division.  Changes may be made as late as the morning of scheduled games (including Sunday morning).  Where possible, these will be communicated in the main Wet Weather message but this cannot be guaranteed.


Changes for the 2010 Season:

#        Interchange will be extended to include all grades and divisions except for Premier League First Grade and All Age 2 First Grade fixtures where substitution will continue to apply.
